Approximately 66% of the ring gear rollers and cycloidal disc lobes collectively bear shock loads under compression. Moreover, the key torque transmission components within the Cycloid Drive are crafted from high carbon chromium bearing grade steel, hardened to a Rockwell Hardness of HRC 61-63 through precision grinding. As a result, Varitron Cycloid Drives can withstand intermittent shock loads of up to 500% of their catalog torque rating, ensuring durability and longevity.
